1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Splitlee ("the Service"), operated by Databloom Technologies LLP ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Splitlee is a group project expense tracking application that lets users create groups, invite members, log expenses with AI-assisted bill scanning, view realtime dashboards, and settle up among members.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by uploading unlawful content, attempting to access other users' data, or interfering with the Service's operation. Bills and payment proofs you upload should relate to legitimate group expenses.
5. Expenses & Settlements
Splitlee provides tools to record and calculate expense splits and suggested settlements. Suggested settlements are informational only and do not constitute a payment instruction. Actual payments between members occur outside the Service.
6. AI Bill Scanning
AI-extracted bill details (amount, merchant, date, category) are estimates and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any extracted information before saving an expense.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
